I hereby announce a photo tour that will take place in September 2025. Iceland is Europe's gateway to absolutely breathtaking landscapes with insane drama. Huge waterfalls, dramatic peaks, black sand beaches, many glaciers, icebergs, lava fields, hot springs and many more. In September it is dark at night again after the light summer months end which means we will most likely see northern lights. Every night we will try to hunt the aurora in combination with stunning foregrounds. Embark on a journey with likeminded people that are also eager to capture this natural world wonder. From most western European countries Iceland is only a few hours away with many direct flights available. Also from the US there are many flights.

What is included?

- Daily landscape and nightscape shootings when the sky is clear/weather is suitable.

- Accommodation  (shared room with one other participant in a room with private or shared bathroom in basic but clean hotels)

- Transportation throughout the entire trip in Iceland

- Daily breakfast and lunch included. This varies between fresh home cooked meals and self-prepared sandwiches as well as lunch in a restaurant. In some accommodations there is the option to use the kitchen, in that case we can decide to cook dinner. There is flexibility to adapt to your personal diet

- When we are in the accommodation you will be guided during the post processing of your photos (Adobe Photoshop)

- Some snacks and fruit

What is not included?

- Your flight ticket to Keflavik, Iceland

- Travel insurance (very important)

- Cancellation insurance (optional)

- Dinner in restaurants or in the accommodation

- Alcoholic beverages

- Private room (if available and for an extra fee)

What to bring with you:

- Winter clothes suitable for hiking (windproof)

- Proper hiking shoes/boots

- Your camera and charger

- Lenses like zoom-, prime-, wide-angle- and telelens as they are all very suitable

- Filterset for your lens (ND filter, Gradient Filter, etc), very important for shooting waterfalls

- Tripod

- Your drone if you have one (not necessary but offers extra photo opportunities)

- Your toiletries
