I hereby announce a new photo tour that will take place coming May! We are going to capture the very best of the European version of Patagonia better known as the Dolomites.  It is the southeast part of the Alps in Italy in the province South Tyrol. The mountains in the Dolomites have very dramatic shapes and in June the temperatures are very pleasant for hiking. The melting snow from the peaks causes many small and big streams and waterfalls that are great foregrounds in landscape pictures. The flowers that are blooming in late spring complement perfectly in wide angle shots of mountain sceneries. The typical Tyrolean atmosphere adds a great vibe to the journey. Churches that are completely isolated in the middle of a mountainous setting will also be a great photography subject. It will be a very active hiking trip in search of the best foregrounds, mountain backgrounds and most beautiful light. I have been many times to the region and I have a lot of insights about hidden gems for landscape photographers. I can't wait to show them to you as well!

What is included?

- Daily landscape and nightscape shootings when the sky is clear/weather is suitable, with tips, guidelines and personal feedback. 

- Accommodation  (private or shared room with private or shared bathroom)

- Transportation throughout the entire trip in the Dolomites

- Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. This varies between fresh home cooked meals and self-prepared sandwiches as well as dinner and lunch in a restaurant. There is flexibility to adapt to your personal diet

- When we are in the accommodation you will be guided during the post processing of your photos

- Some snacks and fruit

- Travel insurance (very important)

- Cancellation insurance (optional)

What to bring with you:

- Hiking clothes

- Proper hiking shoes/boots

- Your camera and charger

- Lenses like zoom-, prime-, wide-angle- and telelens as they are all very suitable

- Filterset for your lens (ND filter, Gradient Filter, etc), very important for shooting waterfalls

- Tripod

- Your drone if you have one (not necessary but offers extra photo opportunities)

- Your toiletries
